MEET Your RPEC
A Republican Parish Executive Committee (RPEC) is the governing body of the Republican Party at the parish (county) level in Louisiana. It serves as the local arm of the party and is responsible for:
1. Candidate Support & Endorsements – Recruiting, endorsing, and supporting Republican candidates for local and state elections.
2. Grassroots Organizing – Mobilizing volunteers, coordinating campaign efforts, and increasing voter turnout for Republican candidates.
3. Fundraising – Raising money to support Republican candidates and party activities within the parish.
4. Election Oversight – Helping ensure fair elections, promoting election integrity, and working with local election officials.
5. Party Representation – Serving as a link between local Republicans and the state/national party, influencing policy decisions.
6. Community Engagement – Hosting events, forums, and outreach programs to grow the Republican base and engage with voters.
7. Delegating to State Party Conventions – Selecting delegates for state conventions and helping shape the Louisiana Republican Party platform.
Essentially, the RPEC plays a crucial role in advancing Republican policies and candidates at the local level.
